MANILA - Sales at e-commerce platform Lazada continue to grow even as faster than expected inflation squeezes consumers, its CEO said Wednesday.
Increased digital media consumption and the preference for YouTube over TV drive Filipinos to spend online, Ray Alimurung told ANC.
"Although you have a force such as inflation making the costs of goods more expensive to consumers, several other forces for e-commerce such as Lazada are working in the opposite direction,” Alimurung said.
Lazada Lazada recently launched LazMall offering a 100-percent guarantee against fakes and next day delivery.
