MANILA - The Philippines may issue its maiden panda bonds around October or November this year, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez said Tuesday.

The government was still looking at raising $200 million (P10.3 billion) from the issue, Dominguez told reporters. Panda bonds are yuan-denominated debt sold in China by foreign firms or governments.
