MANILA - State prosecutors reset the preliminary investigation on alleged fraud in Metrobank to Aug. 22, after the hearing failed to push through on Tuesday.

Metrobank executive Maria Victoria, who is accused of irregular transactions, sought more time to answer the fraud charge while 2 new respondents, who were not immediately named, did not attend.
