Davao businessman seals Enderun Colleges acquisition

MANILA - Udenna Corp said Wednesday it finalized its acquisition of Enderun Colleges, giving Davao-based businessman Dennis Uy a foothold in the education business.“Enderun Colleges provides us another opportunity to support the Philippine economy’s growth,” Uy said in a statement.“We believe that quality education and skills training are what make our human capital more productive and competitive,” he said.Enderun, located in Fort Bonifacio, specializes in international hospitality and business administartion courses.Last month, Uy announced plans to build a <a href='http://news.abs-cbn.com/business/05/04/17/udenna-to-build-300-m-casino-resort-in-cebu'>$300-million casino</a> resort in Cebu. Uy has stakes in Phoenix Petroleum, Chelsea Logistics and real estate through Udenna Development Corp., among others.
