MANILA - Insurance firm FWD Life Philippines on Monday said it appointed former Philippine Economic Authority director general Lilia De Lima to its board.
De Lima's appointment took effect last June 21, FWD Life Philippines said in a statement.
The firm highlighted De Lima's performance at PEZA, which ushered the agency into a "model institution of honest and committed public services, and a key contributor to the nation's economic growth."
De Lima is one of the few Filipino recipients of The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star, the highest award given to a non-head of state by the government of Japan, the firm said.
