2 more bus routes in Metro Manila, neighboring areas to open Wednesday

MANILA - The government is opening 2 new bus routes in Metro Manila and its neighboring areas on Wednesday as it gradually resumes public transportation after more than 2 months of lockdown in the capital and elsewhere in Luzon.

The Department of Transportation said the new routes are:

  • Monumento - PITX
  • PITX - General Mariano Alvarez

The new routes will complement the others that were opened last week, which are:

  • EDSA Bus augmentation for MRT-3
  • Monumento-Balagtas
  • Monumento-Valenzuela Gateway Complex
  • Quezon Avenue-Angat
  • Quezon Avenue-Montalban
  • Cubao-Montalban
  • Cubao-Antipolo
  • Gilmore-Taytay
  • Buendia-BGC
  • Monumento-EDSA Taft
  • PITX-NAIA Loop
  • Monumento-San Jose Del Monte
  • PITX-Alabang
  • BGC-Alabang
  • PITX-Dasmariñas
