MANILA - The National Competitiveness Council (NCC) wants to push for the repeal of thousands of departmental circulars and orders and even laws to accelerate improvements in ease of doing business in the country.

Luz said they just started the initiative eight weeks ago, but they have already received 14,000 proposals for rules and regulations to be repealed.
