MANILA, Philippines -- Former national basketball team head coach Chot Reyes confirmed on Sunday that he is set to leave his post as chief executive officer of TV5.

Quoting a tweet from the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Reyes said: "It's been a great 10 years with Boss MVP (Manny V. Pangilinan) and the group."

"But now," he said, "it's time to move on to other things."

According to the Inquirer report, Reyes is stepping down after three years in charge of TV5. The former Gilas Pilipinas coach said he will leave in July or August, and has asked for early retirement.
