MANILA -- The Philippine Stock Exchange said Monday trading hours would stay shortened "indefinitely" while officials monitor improvements during Metro Manila's shift to general community quarantine.

The PSE trading floor reopened Monday after months of off site operations, with transactions allowed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. before the quarantines started last March.
