Yang recalled a particular incident when he was a manager at their Greenbelt store in Makati when customers suddenly swarmed the place on a day he did not have enough manpower, thus slowing the service down.

"I think it helped me realize that in business, it's not all roses and you have to be prepared for challenges or hardships," said Yang. "So I think resiliency is important. You also have to rally your team," he added.
