MANILA - Online hotel booking platform Agoda said it has introduced a new feature to allow guests to cancel their bookings 24 hours before their scheduled arrival.

Agoda said its EasyCancel feature allows participating partner hotels and properties worldwide to offer their guests the option to cancel up to 24 hours before arrival, without charges.

Agoda, however, said booking cancellations received less than 24 hours before the arrival date will incur the full period charge, while failure to arrive at the hotel or property will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be given.

The company said the program, which launched in March, has received strong support from partners in the US, the UK, throughout Southeast Asia — the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia — plus China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and India.
