Several Cebu Pacific flights canceled after strong Luzon quake

MANILA - (UPDATE) Cebu Pacific canceled several flights on Monday following the magnitude 6.1 quake which struck Luzon.

The airline said that as of 6:45 p.m., the following flights scheduled for Monday evening were canceled as a pre-emptive measure:

  • 5J 120 Clark-Hong Kong
  • 5J 121 Hong Kong-Clark
  • 5J 370 Clark-Macau
  • 5J 371 Macau-Clark
  • 5J 608 Clark-Cebu
  • 5J 609 Cebu-Clark

The following flights scheduled for Tuesday, April 23 have also been canceled:

  • 5J 607 Clark-Cebu
  • 5J 606 Cebu-Clark
  • 5J 613 Clark-Bohol (Tagbilaran)
  • 5J 614 Bohol (Tagbilaran)-Clark
  • 5J 913 Clark-Caticlan (Boracay)
  • 5J 914 Caticlan (Boracay)-Clark
  • 5J 537 Clark-Singapore
  • 5J 538 Singapore-Clark
  • 5J 985 Clark-Davao
  • 5J 986 Davao-Clark

Cebu Pacific said passengers on these canceled flights may take any of the following options:

  1. Rebook their flights for travel within 30 days from original departure date, free of charge
  2. Get a full refund
  3. Place the full cost of the ticket in a Travel Fund
  4. Re-route to or from Manila, subject to availability of seats

The airline said affected passengers will be notified via email or text message, and are also advised to manage their booking through the Cebu Pacific website.
