MANILA - Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) officials on Wednesday led the first day of the scheduled inspection and maintenance work of Metro Manila's main railway this Holy Week.
MRT Director for Operations Michael Capati led the railway tracks inspection, while MRT General Manager Rodolfo Garcia supervised the ongoing heavy works at the maintenance depot, the Department of Transportation said on Twitter.
The MRT-3 line, which serves 500,000 commuters daily, is closed for maintenance work during the Holy Week from March 28 to April 1.
