MANILA - The man who built up Acer into one of the biggest tech companies in the world thinks a good boss isn't someone who simply commands, but a leader who empowers.

"To me, my style is (to) empower, outsourcing all efforts, but take responsibility," said Stan Shih, co-founder and honorary Chairman of Acer.

Shih also says a good boss takes responsibility while allowing his people to make mistakes so they can learn quicker.
