MANILA – Motorcycle ride-hailing firm JoyRide on Tuesday showcased to the media its facility along Marcos Highway where it trains riders.
The 5,000 square meter compound is a former Happy Move facility, another brand under JoyRide’s parent We Move Things Philippines, its vice president for Corporate Affairs Noli Eala told reporters.
Eala said applicants have to go through a week-long process before they are accredited as JoyRide drivers. Training includes maneuvering through an obstacle course with a passenger.
JoyRide plans to complete its 10,000 rider fleet by February, Eala earlier said.
