Home to one of the biggest and most exciting surprises in the country, SM Mall of Asia kicked off the yuletide celebration up a notch with an exhibition that gave joy to many mall goers last December 25, 2019 with the Grand Festival of Lights.

Hanna the Panda, Macky the Monkey, Sebi the Zebra, led by master of the show Leo the Lion, danced along the holiday tunes with snowflakes fairies, snowmen, marching band, ballerinas, nutcrackers, elves, Christmas princesses, gingerbread men and ladies, Santa ladies, and Rudolf and his fellow reindeers—entertained the crowd, giving them smile from ear to ear.

Santa Claus, together with SM Prime President Hans Sy, further spread bliss and magic by giving out SM Bears of Joy to the kids of the Childhaus Foundation.

The Bears of Joy, which has been part of SM's holiday campaign since 2011, lets customers buy a pair of cuddly bears worth P200—one of which they get to keep while the other is donated to the mall's chosen beneficiaries, the Bahay Tuluyan.

The event ended with a meet-and-greet and photoshoot sessions with Santa Claus that made every kid and kid-at-heart beam with joy.

Santa will continue making special appearances on weekends throughout the holiday season at the Mall of Asia Central Atrium. Kids can whisper their Christmas wishes as they sit on his lap or they can write it down and send their list at the Santa Mail located at the main mall drop off.

Those who will also take seflies and stories with the 60-ft MOA Christmas tree at the Central Atrium and the 30-ft MOA Santa and his reindeers at the Main Mall drop off may be among the lucky individuals who will be in for a special surprise.

The MOA indoor lights show takes place on weekdays at 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm and weekends at 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
