Aside from receiving the Best Commercial Green Development in Asia at the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Finals ceremony, the Arthaland Century Pacific Tower also bagged the Best Office Development for 2019 award at the 7th PropertyGuru Philippine Property Awards.

The 30-storey premium grade office development in Bonifacio Global City which is Arthaland's flagship and corporate office building, came on top from more than a dozen property markets across the Asia Pacific region.

"We were recognized among the best projects in Asia, by a panel of judges from all the participating countries, for the project's excellent design, world class quality and industry leading sustainability features. This award will continue to motivate us to pursue building more sustainable and exceptional developments," said Leonardo Arthur T. Po, Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Arthaland.

It is also the first and only triple-certified building in the Philippines that received the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum rating, Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence (BERDE) 5-star certification, and the Excellence is Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE) Zero Carbon certification, which is the highest and most prestigious certifications in green building rating standards.

Arthaland, which was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) of New York, the same architect responsible for the One World Trade Center in New York City and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, currently has two other office buildings under construction that are slated to bring more accolades to the country.

The Cebu Exchange is a landmark business ecosystem at the gateway of the Cebu I.T. park. On track for its 2021 turnover, it holds the distinction of being the largest green office building in the Philippines with approximately 11 hectares of gross floor area.

The Savya Financial Center is a premium midrise office development with a fully integrated retail component, situated in the highly connected new business district of ARCA South in Taguig City. It will stand as a one-of-a-kind global address created to the highest standards with both of its the North and South towers designed and built with modern, smart and sustainable features.

These projects will also aim for a triple-certification as they are already registered with both the U.S. Green Building Council and the Philippine Green Building Council.

These are as well pre-certified for the LEED and targeting to earn the BERDE certification. Once completed, both projects are designed to earn a minimum of 20% savings in energy, water and embodied energy in materials, which will qualify them for EDGE certification.
