What are your goals this 2023?

Despite trials and tribulations from past years, 95% of Filipinos welcomed 2023 with hope rather than with fear, according to a recent poll from the Social Weather Stations (SWS). This is two points above the 93% recorded by SWS in 2021, evidently showing that respondents from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao chose to be optimistic that 2023 will bring more opportunities.

The poll positively mirrors the grit of the Filipino. They continue to stand strong, always rising no matter the turbulence.

Para kanino ka bumabangon?

Beaming with hope for the New Year, netizens gamely shared how they are going to live the life of their dreams, as they answered ABS-CBN News' Facebook callout, "Paano kayo babangon ngayong 2023?"

"Babangon para sa bagong pag-asa. Samahan lang natin ng dasal upang tayo ay gabayan sa tatahakin nating bagong pagsubok na sana malagpasan ulit ang panibagong hamon sa buhay. Dasal lang ang ating sandata – sa dilim man, o liwanag ng ating buhay," said Maria Cristina Velasco.
