“I’m so excited for the Star Magic Ball this Saturday! It’s the biggest event of the year, and [I’m so excited to see] everyone glammed up and have a good time,” shares the forever beautiful Jessy Mendiola, as she carefully selects her gown for the big night.

Though donning a dramatic black, sequined ensemble, Jessy shares: “I’m really not yet sure what my gown will be for that night. It’s gonna’ be a surprise! [My designer] was nice enough to make three, so we are still thinking which one will look the best for the evening!”

Of course, no matter what she wears, Jessy is sure to light up the red carpet as her partner will be her long-time beau, Luis Manzano. “For events like this, he’s really the perfect date. He will talk to anyone and everyone, parang siya yung nagpa-party!” she laughs. “Kapag kasama ko si Luis, all I have to do is just stand there. He’s friends with everyone, and he’s so charming. He really lights up the party,” she gushes.

“Every year, Star Magic Ball just gets bigger and better. It’s exciting because this is the only time during the year na makikita mo lahat—the past and present Star Magic talents—so we’re expecting it to be fun and memorable,” she says, adding that she can’t wait to take selfies and snaps of the night with her new OPPO F5 phone, which can elegantly go with any gown she chooses, launching this October.

“Of course, the selfie of the night would have to be with Mr. M (Johnny Manahan), because siya naman nagstart nang lahat na ito. Kung meron dapat na i-celebrate sa Star Magic Ball, it should be him,” Jessy concludes with a smile.
