Nakiusap si Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos sa bashers na tigilan na ang relasyon ng kanyang anak na si Luis Manzano kay Jessy Mendiola.

Ayon kay Santos, nalulungkot siya dahil patuloy na binabato ng negatibong komento sina Manzano at Mendiola.

“Alam ko masaya sila. Nalulungkot lang ako kasi there are some people na bina-bash [sila], ayaw, parang negative, bayaan natin maging maligaya ang mga tao,” apela ni Santos.

Nang tanungin naman kung may plano nang magpakasal ang kanyang anak at karelasyon nito, sinabi ni Santos na hindi pa ito napag-uusapan.

“Ah wala pa, hindi pa namin ‘yun napag-uusapan,” ayon kay Santos.

Ginawaran naman ng 'Natatanging Gawad Urian' si Santos noong Huwebes ng gabi.

“I’m home, that's what I felt talaga,” ani Santos matapos magbigyan ng pagkilala.

Sa ngayon, nakatutok siya sa public service pero hiling niya na makagawa ulit ng pelikula sa Metro Manila Film Festival, kahit pa inuulan ito ng kontrobersiya.

“’Yung intriga is really part of the industry. Okay lang ‘yun. Basta ako alam ko we're doing very well now. Bumawi ang industriya natin ngayon, which I’m very very happy,” ani Santos.

Handa rin si Santos na makasama si Judy Ann Santos sa big screen.

“Hindi pa kami nagkatrabaho ni Judy Ann and since nung bihira na 'ko gumawa ng pelikula, so maybe I can offer them something different, and with Judy Ann it's going to be different.”-- Ulat ni MJ Felipe, ABS-CBN News
