MANILA -- Alma Moreno, who lost in senatorial race, appeared on "It's Showtime" on Tuesday, ahead of her 57th birthday tomorrow.

Moreno, who joined the noontime show's "Trabahula" segment, tried to control her emotions as her former husband Joey Marquez shared his birthday message for her.

"Ness, nakaka-miss 'yung birthday mo palagi tayong magkasama; ngayon, bihira tayong magkasama. Pero ang dasal ko talaga, sana ay manatili ka pa ding Alma Moreno sa mga tao, sa iyong sipag, sa iyong bait, sa iyong pagmamahal. Nagkamali ako eh, ako nagkamali. Sabi ko nga 'yung pagkakamali ko ay pagpasensiyahan mo na. Ness, I'm sorry," Marquez said.
