Following their stints as guests, television hosts Mariel Rodriguez and Amy Perez are now officially part of ''It's Showtime,'' it was revealed Saturday.

"Naiiyak ako talaga pero pinipigilan ko," admitted Rodriguez, who used to co-host a now-defunct ABS-CBN noontime show back in 2010.

"Pero thank you talaga, I'm really so happy. Sa madlang people, maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyo. Isa pong karangalan ang makasama kayo muli tuwing tanghalian," she added.

Likewise, Perez, who is also one of the co-hosts of "Umagang Kay Ganda," expressed her gratitude towards the "madlang people."

The pair joins "It's Showtime" mainstays Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, Coleen Garcia, Karylle, Jhong Hilario, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta, Eric "Eruption" Tai, Kim Atienza, and Ryan Bang.
