MANILA - Here's a new haven for bookworms.

The renovated Quezon City Public Library, which houses thousands of books, also has a contemporary look, a far cry from the usual public libraries in the country.

With over 18,131 books and around 71 computer stations for OPAC, encoding and internet, the Quezon City Public Library at the City Hall compound also boasts of spacious, well-lit spaces and kid-friendly areas.

Library use is free for all QC residents.

The library is open to the general public and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday.
