Arum pointed out that the two other judges – Burt Clemens and Steve Weisfeld – gave Magdaleno eight rounds and Donaire four, and only Byrd saw it as a blowout in the Mexican's favor.

The promoter was also irritated by the scores of judge Dave Moretti, who scored the Pacquiao-Vargas fight 114-113. "One judge gave Manny the victory by one point, by virtue of the knockdown (in round two)," Arum said.
