MANILA – Filipino-Swiss race car driver Marlon Stockinger finally admitted that he and Miss Unvierse 2015 Pia Wurtzbach are indeed “seeing each other.”

However, Stockinger said in an interview during the Star Magic Ball on Saturday that they just “want to keep it down low.”

“The truth? Let's put it this way if Pia was here tonight she'd be my date here so yeah obviously we see each other but we just want to keep it down low pretty much but yeah, I've been seeing Pia,” he said.

Stockinger said he feels fortunate to have been given the chance to get to know Wurtzbach on a more personal level.

“It's amazing! Pia is very beautiful of course, that is the reason why she is Miss Universe. I just feel lucky that we got to meet and we've been seeing each other,” he said.

Meanwhile, Stockinger shared that their situation isn’t very easy considering they are currently miles apart.

"Well it's difficult obviously she's across the Atlantic right now, I'm here in the Philippines. I'm also in Europe so whenever we get the chance, we make the most out of it," he said.

Since they are just in the early stages of getting to know each other, Stockinger said they "can't predict the future right now, but probably that would be an awesome Christmas gift, so we'll see."

In an interview with ABS-CBN News early this month, Stockinger denied dating Wurtzbach after a photo of them together in New York sparked the rumors.

He then maintained that they are just close friends.
