MANILA, Philippines – In the past couple of seasons, Nosa Omorogbe has become a fixture on the coaching staff of the University of Perpetual Help Altas.

A former Perpetual Help player, Omorogbe is the team's head coach in all but name, pacing up and down the sidelines and drawing up plays in timeouts. After every game, however, it is Jimwell Gican who addresses reporters.

On Thursday, as the Altas hacked out an 88-82 overtime win over the Letran Knights, Omorogbe was nowhere to be found.

A source within the team revealed that Omorogbe has taken an indefinite leave due to personal reasons.

"May inaayos lang na medyo personal," the source said of Omorogbe.

The same source said the team is hopeful that Omorogbe can make his way back to the team, "if he finishes his journey."

"Pag 'di siya maligaw, makakabalik siya," said the source.

Omorogbe was a part of the Scottie Thomson-led Perpetual Help teams before he switched to coaching. He helped lead the Altas to an unexpected Final 4 appearance in Season 92.
