Dines Dumaan and Jefferson Loon of the Philippines notched critical wins in pencak silat in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta on Friday to secure at least a bronze medal each.

Both of them won medals in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur — Dumaan a gold in the 45 to 50 kilograms division of the men's tanding putra Class A event, while Loon a bronze in the 60 to 65 kg division in men’s tanding Class D.
