Joel Bacho and Nesthy Petecio lost to their respective opponents at Jakarta International Expo on Friday, as the Philippines opened its 2018 Asian Games boxing campaign on a dismal note.

Bacho lost to Sajjad Kazemzadeh Poshtiri of Iran in a men's welterweight bout, while Petecio fell to Yin Junhua of China in a women's featherweight match.

Ed Picson, executive director of the Association of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines, the sport's national governing body, shared his thoughts on the Petecio bout with ABS-CBN News' Dyan Castillejo.
