San Beda University downed San Sebastian College 65-54 in NCAA men's basketball at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan on Thursday.

Javee Mocon and rookie James Canlas conspired in the fourth quarter as the Red Lions rallied to beat the Stags and book a sixth straight win.

Mocon and Canlas fired 10 points each in the final period when San Beda outgunned San Sebastian, 20-8.

It was the Red Lions' sixth straight win, keeping their perfect start alive.

San Beda inched closer to the Lyceum of the Philippines University Pirates, who currently lead the way with a perfect 7-0 (win-loss) record.

San Sebastian slid to 3-6 to end its first round campaign.
