MACAU --- NLEX is off to a sensational start in the 2018 Summer Super 8 league.

The Road Warriors demolished the ABL's Formosa Dreamers Tuesday at the East Asian Games Dome here, picking up a cool 94-68 victory.

NLEX led from start to finish and at one point were up by a commanding 42 points, 84-42, early in the fourth period.

The Road Warriors ended up settling for a 26-point victory to start group play.

NLEX sent 12 local players to Macau and three of them finished in double figures against the Dreamers.

Kenneth Ighalo led the way with 14 points and eight rebounds while JR Quinahan and Raul Soyud added 12 apiece.

Kenny Chien fired 18 points for Formosa.

After a down performance in the still ongoing PBA Commissioner's Cup, the Road Warriors are using this week-long invitational to prepare for the Governors' Cup.
