Manny Pacquiao has responded to a report that his world welterweight title fight with Argentina’s Lucas Matthysse may be postponed or even cancelled.

"As far as I am concerned, everything is fine," said Pacquiao, who sparred for 10 rounds on Thursday afternoon.

"Lucas Matthysse and I are getting ready to give the fans their money's worth and July 15 will be huge for boxing in Malaysia."

Pacquiao believes everything is okay as he had assigned a team to handle the business and logistics side of the bout.

Marketing and sales head Arnold Vegafria, for his part, assured that all decision-makers were in accord.

"Everyone is on board. Everyone understands the situation and the fight is going as planned," said Vegafria.

ESPN’s Dan Rafael earlier reported that the Pacquiao-Matthysse fight in Kuala Lumpur on July 15 is hounded by financial issues.

He said that MP Promotions, which is working on the bout with Golden Boy Promotions, has missed several deadlines to fund various aspects of the fight.
