The towering middle blocker was named the Most Valuable Player of the season, while also earning Best Spiker honors for the fourth season in a row.

Santiago scored a total of 280 points for the Lady Bulldogs this season, converting 41.76% of her attacks. With her leading the charge, NU won six of its first seven games before falling off, eventually sneaking into the semifinals as the fourth seed.

They were beaten by defending champions De La Salle University in straight sets in the Final 4.
