Kevin "The Silencer" Belingon defeated Toni Tauru of Finland via verbal tap-out in their bantamweight match in ONE Championship at Mall of Asia Arena on Friday night.

Belingon, looking to avenge the loss of his teammate Geje Eustaquio to the much taller Tauru, absorbed a series of strikes from the Finnish fighter before he found an opening.

A cracking right hand cut Tauru on the left eyebrow, prompting Belingon to go for the finish.

Belingon was so relentless in his assault that Tauru was forced to tap-out. The match ended with 2:27 left in the 1st round.

Belingon now has a record of 15-5.
