MMA: Gina Iniong makes strong ONE debut with overpowering win

Team Lakay's Gina Iniong made a successful ONE Championship debut by dominating Filipino-English fighter Natalie Gonzales-Hills in ONE: Kings of Destiny at Mall of Asia Arena Friday night.

Iniong (5-2) connected on most of her right hands against Gonzales-Hills (1-5) besides scoring several takedowns in their atomweight bout.

The judges all scored in favor of Iniong to seal the unanimous decision victory.

In a strawweight match, Robin Catalan was able to squeeze out a split decision against Jeremy Miado.

Catalan came off a full year’s rest by handing Miado's 1st career loss.

Catalan now has 6 wins against 2 defeats, while Miado fell to 6-1.

Eugene Toquero was not as lucky as the Filipino fighter succumbed to a 3rd straight loss to Indonesia’s Stefer Rahardian.
