The second set was closer, with UE coming to within one point, 5-6, after a net violation was called on Adamson. Unfortunately for the Lady Warriors, they committed four consecutive unforced errors, three of which came on mishits. That restored a 10-5 lead for the Lady Falcons, and though the teams would exchange points the rest of the way, UE never really threatened again.

It was all Adamson in the third set, with Galanza and Dacoron anchoring a 10-1 run that turned a 3-5 deficit into a 13-5 advantage for the Lady Falcons. This lead ballooned to 12 points, 22-10, before a late bevy of errors allowed UE to cut into the lead and forced Padda to call for timeout.

The Lady Falcons were firmly in control, however. They reached match point off a powerful attack by Dacoron, and got the win when UE's Juliet Catindig misfired on their last attack.
