Former world champion Manny Pacquiao has opened his training camp for his June 24 showdown against Argentina's Lucas Matthysse.

The "Pacman" did roadwork on Monday morning as well as some light shadowboxing.

Nowhere to be found was his longtime trainer Freddie Roach.

Pacquiao announced last week that he will fight Matthysse (39-4, 36 KOs) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the event, which will see his own MP Promotions partnering with Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions.

Matthysse currently holds the WBA welterweight title.

"Champion siya, at naniniwala akong magandang fight ang ipapakita namin," said Pacquiao. "Hindi 'yun umaatras. Sugod ng sugod 'yun."

Pacquiao has not fought since July 2017, when he lost to Jeff Horn of Australia in controversial fashion.
