The Ildefonsos are back home – and legendary Danny has brought along his sons with him.

National University has secured the services of Dave Ildefonso, the versatile wing who helped Ateneo de Manila High School onto its first championship in three years. “NU na po ako,” he told ABS-CBN Sports.

Averaging 13.1 points 44 percent shooting, 8.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.1 steals, he was also named to his second straight Mythical Team.

Now, the six-foot-three forward takes his talents to the school where his father began making a name for himself.

Danny Ildefonso was a standout for the Bulldogs before winning eight championships and back-to-back MVP awards in the PBA. Now, he is serving as assistant to head coach Jamike Jarin.

And now, Danny I will be wearing blue and gold alongside both of his sons Dave and Shaun, who had already transferred from Katipunan to Sampaloc a year ago.

They round out an already intimidating forward rotation that boasts of Nico Abatayo, Jonas TIbayan, and returning Joshua Sinclair as well as fellow incoming player John Lloyd Clemente.
