MANILA, Philippines – Two teams coming off losses try to bounce back against each other on Monday, when San Sebastian College and University of Perpetual Help collide in the NCAA Season 93 women's volleyball tournament at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Game time is at 12:30 p.m. between the Lady Altas and the Lady Stags, two teams that have identical 1-1 win-loss records.

The Lady Stags won their first game of the post-Grethcel Soltones era but absorbed a heartbreaking loss to the Shola Alvarez-led Jose Rizal University (JRU) Lady Bombers last week.

Meanwhile, the Lady Altas were shocked by the San Beda College Lady Red Spikers in just three sets last Thursday.

The winner of Monday's game will get back into the magic four of the women's division. Defending champion Arellano University is currently at the top with a 3-0 win-loss record.

In the men's division, last year's runner-up Perpetual Help guns for the solo lead as it takes on San Sebastian.

The Altas lost in the finals to De La Salle-College of St. Benilde (CSB) last year, but they got off to an impressive start in Season 93. Perpetual Help waylaid Lyceum of the Philippines University, 25-19, 25-13, 25-18, and San Beda, 25-12, 25-17, 25-23.

The pair of victories sent the Altas to a three-way tie for first place along with CSB and Arellano, with each team having a 2-0 record.

Perpetual Help will play a San Sebastian team that is coming off an impressive come-from-behind, five-set win over JRU last Thursday to improve to 1-1.

Game time is at 2 p.m.
