Immigration vows help in probe on Filipina linked to Las Vegas shooting

MANILA- The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has vowed to cooperate with its international counterparts as the investigation into the Las Vegas massacre rolls out.
"We assure though that the BI shall cooperate with any and all of our international counterparts in providing any relevant information that would help their investigation," BI spokesperson Antonette Mangrobang said in a text message to ABS-CBN News.

This after a reported Filipina turned Australian citizen was linked to the shooting spree suspect Stephen Padock, a 64-year-old retiree armed with multiple assault rifles.
Police earlier looked into the involvement of Marilou Danley into the massacre. She was later cleared by the police.
US reports and officials said she is either in the Philippines or Japan.
The BI has refused to confirm whether Danley entered the Philippines, saying the information is confidential.
"Based on reports Marilou Danley is not a suspect and appears to have been cleared by the police, we are not inclined to release any information at this time. The information being confidential," Mangrobang said.
The Department of Foreign Affairs also had no information on Danley.
"Wala pa tayong information on that. We're still checking. Pangalawa, she's not a person of interest any longer according to the Las Vegas sheriff's office dahil nasa outside of the US siya nung nangyari ang insidente," Robespierre Bolivar, spokesperson for the DFA said.

Danley described herself as a "casino professional," as well as a mother and grandmother on social media websites, according to Reuters.
Paddock strafed concert-goers in Las Vegas from his hotel room in Mandalay Bay, slaughtering at least 59 people in the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history before killing himself.
The attack also left at least 525 people injured--some by gunfire or shrapnel, some trampled - in the pandemonium adjacent to the Las Vegas Strip.
