LRT-2 to give free rides on Rizal Day

The Manila Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line-2 will be giving free rides on Friday in celebration of Rizal Day.

In an announcement Thursday, LRT-2 said the free rides will be available from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, the 120th celebration of Rizal Day.

December 30 marks the 120th death anniversary and martyrdom of the country's national hero Dr. Jose Rizal.
