The suspect introduced himself as Private First Class Jethro Bacarro, 27, an active member of 4th Infantry Division currently assigned in 36th Infantry Battalion in Surigao City, officials from the City Anti Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group said.

Recovered from the suspect were two sachets of suspected shabu and an army identification card.

Bacarro was not the main target of the operation but a certain alias "Tata" who managed to escape after the poseur buyer successfully bought from him one sachet of suspected shabu.
