The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Thursday released the results of the 2015 Foreign Service Officer (FSO) Examination held from August 16, 2015 to August 12, 2016.

The twenty-nine successful examinees will be recommended by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs for appointment by the President as Foreign Service Officers, Class IV.

The FSO Examination is administered by the DFA's Board of Foreign Service Examinations at least once a year. The examination is composed of five stages: Civil Service Examination for Foreign Service Officer (CSE-FSO); Preliminary Interview; Written Test; Psychological Test; and Oral Test.

The examination is usually completed within a period of 1 year from the date of the first exam, which serves as the qualifying test for the examination.
