SHABU WRAPPED IN CARBON PAPER: Anti-narcotics operatives seized 20 kilos of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu wrapped in carbon paper in a buy-bust operation in Ongpin, Manila Friday morning. The shabu haul has a street value of P100 million, police said.

Initial reports said anti-illegal drug operatives of Manila Police District Station 11 conducted a buy-bust operation wherein poseur-buyers bought 100 grams of shabu from suspects Rommel Rodriguez and Albert Gasingan.

Authorities made the arrest after discovering that the suspects had a large shabu cache wrapped in foil and carbon paper in their car.

Seized from the suspects were the drugs, a .45-caliber handgun and P300,000 marked money.

Identification cards of Chinese nationals were also recovered from the suspects.
