ZAMBOANGA CITY- A junk shop owner in Zamboanga City has turned over to police several old unexploded bombs he found with the scrap metal he bought from clients.

A police explosive ordinance disposal (EOD) unit immediately inspected the World War 2-era bombs numbering at least 20.

SPO3 Joselito Juaqino, the team leader of EOD unit, said some of the bombs are still active and could possibly explode.
