Ozamiz City - Mayor Reynaldo "Aldong" Parojinog, his daughter Vice Mayor Nova Princess Parojinog, and son Councilor Ricardo "Ardot" Parojinog turned over their high-powered firearms to the Ozamiz City Police Station on Monday.

Sixteen firearms were deposited at the city police station after PNP Director General Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa revoked the licenses of their firearms.

Of the 16 firearms, 13 of these are owned by Mayor Parojinog while 3 others were owned by Councilor Parojinog. Vice Mayor Parojinogs's firearm was reported as lost in Camp Crame.

According to Misamis Occidental Provincial Director Senior Superintendent Edgar Daniel, Mayor Parojinog has yet to turn over one short firearm.

Police officers detailed as Mayor's Parojinog's security escorts were also recalled by Regional Director Chief Superintendent Noel Constantino. They were advised to report to their respective stations.
