MANILA – Heavy rains have stopped in Barangay Almacen in Hermosa, Bataan, which is said to be the worst-hit area in the province, according to its Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.

In a live report on ANC on Sunday, ABS-CBN News’ Primy Cane said flood waters have also started to subside although the town is still experiencing light rain showers.

Due to the circumstances, several residents resorted to using boats to get around the area as they look for food to eat.

Some residents shared that they lost their stocks during the torrential rains because flood waters got into their supplies.

This morning, the local government unit of Bataan also completed its first delivery of relief goods to the residents, who were happy to receive aid from the government.

As of writing, Bataan is one of the provinces still under the PAGASA yellow rainfall warning.
