The reward money for the capture of Manila road rage suspect Von Martin Tanto has been raised to P200,000, twice the amount offered by Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada yesterday.

This, after Caloocan City Mayor Oscar Malapitan offered additional P100,000 for the arrest of Tanto.

Tanto, an Army reservist, is the primary suspect in the killing of Mark Vincent Geralde in a road rage incident in Quiapo, Manila earlier this week.

CCTV footage earlier showed the driver of a Hyundai Eon shooting Geralde after a fistfight on P. Casal Street last Monday. Police later identified the shooter as Tanto.

Malapitan said it is only appropriate that the city government extends its help since Geralde lives in Barangay 130, San Jose, Caloocan City.

Manhunt operations are still underway against Tanto, whose abandoned vehicle was found in Nueva Vizcaya on Thursday morning. Dennis Datu, radio DZMM
