Police Superintendent Melgar Devaras of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Region 10 said the operation was jointly done with Police Regional Office 10, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Philippine Army's 4th Infantry Division.

A vehicle parked outside Salic's residence will also be subject to authorities' investigation as they believe it also contains illegal items.

Salic is currently under CIDG custody after he was arrested in a police checkpoint in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental Tuesday evening.

The arrest was made due to a warrant issued by the Department of National Defense for a case of rebellion.
