The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will not layoff enforcers even as a Commission on Audit report showed that about 2,000 traffic personnel were not qualified for the job, an MMDA official said Thursday.

Newly-appointed MMDA chairman Danilo Lim knew of the 2015 COA report and already ordered a review of the status of enforcers but would not go on a firing spree anytime soon, Mike Salalima, MMDA deputy chief of staff, told reporters.
