New Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat on Tuesday said she was leaving the possible filing of complaints against her predecessor, Wanda Teo, up to the Commission on Audit and the Office of the Ombudsman.

Teo resigned after state auditors flagged the alleged lack of contract when government station PTV-4 aired tourism ads on "Kilos Pronto," a blocktimer show hosted by her brothers Ben and Erwin Tulfo.

The Ombudsman has started its probe into the ad transaction.

"I'lL just leave it up to the COA, the Ombudsman. That's because they're the proper agency to handle this," Puyat said in an interview with ANC, her first since being tapped as tourism chief.

"A lot of people have been asking me, 'Are you going to look into all her contracts?' It's like a witch hunt... I just want to work, move on," she added.

Puyat, however, also said she will look into any project initiated by Teo if it did not go through the proper process.
